Letter to Senator Levin from MFSO member Ivan Goldman

Senator Carl Levin
Washington,
D.C.
202-224-1388
Dear Senator Levin:
My
son is in the 4th Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division, at Ft. Stewart, GA,
in
training for his second deployment to Iraq no later than July. He did
his
first tour of 11 months with the 18th Airborne Corps out of Ft. Bragg.
My
son joined the Army to serve his country, not to be part of a moronic
effort
to save the ruined legacy of this blind fool in the White House.
21 more U.S. deaths in Iraq in less than a week! If they're
killed over the
next two years at the same rate they were killed in the first
four years, we
will lose approximately 1,650 more during that time. Don't let
Bush kill any
more of our sons. Please don't fund this madness. Stand up to
him for us.
When you feel yourself faltering, remember the thousands of our
maimed,
destroyed kids.
And don't let Bush give the country
amnesia over the two U.S. soldiers who
were captured and are still missing in
action. Why doesn't the Pentagon list
the missing when it totals casualties?
We have done so in all other wars.
Do not fund this war. Not one
more death, not one more dime for a pointless
exercise that weakens us, has
stolen our moral standing, and makes our
enemies stronger.
Thank you,
